Fibroblasts Assemble! – our paper turned into a “sci-fun” comic

Science communication has never been more important and we have been searching for new, a little more fun channels to communicate our research to the general public.

We collaborated with Sara Miranda, who combines scientific background and artistic talent to translate scientific findings into short “sci-fun” comics with engaging content accessible to audiences of all backgrounds.

Here is Sara’s take on one of our papers, which uncovers elevated levels of antiviral gene expression in splenic red pulp fibroblasts. Something for Avengers’ fans!
